My mission

My mission is to support horses in their well-being and performance. I believe that a healthy mind in a healthy body is essential for a happy athlete. A horse that feels good will also perform better. With my knowledge and experience, I am ready to help your horse.

Prevention

I work closely with riders and trainers to optimize the biomechanics of the horse. By detecting and treating blockages and tensions in the body, I help the horse move more freely and perform more efficiently.

To achieve optimal balance, the horse must be correctly muscled. With a training plan, I will help you get started.

Rehabilitation

After injuries or intense training, a proper rehabilitation program is essential. I collaborate with veterinarians and other professionals to support your horse's recovery.

Using osteopathic techniques, I reduce pain, improve circulation, and stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities. This gives your horse the best chance to perform at the highest level again.

By creating a rehabilitation plan, I am happy to help get your horse back in top shape.

My Vision

I strongly believe in a multidisciplinary and holistic approach where a team works together with the well-being and individuality of the horse as a priority. Teamwork makes the dream work. When the owner, rider, groom, veterinarian, osteopath, nutritionist, physiotherapist, farrier, etc., collaborate, optimal results can be achieved.

Complementary Expertise

Veterinarians have in-depth medical knowledge and can diagnose and treat specific conditions.

As an osteopath, I focus on restoring freedom of movement and optimizing the biomechanics of the horse. I do not treat diseases, but rather work on improving overall health and performance.

By working together, we complement each other and can offer a holistic approach.

Prevention and Early Detection

Osteopathy serves a preventive function. Through regular osteopathic checks, we can detect subtle blockages and tensions before they lead to serious problems.

If tissue quality has already weakened, this can lead to reduced mobility and an increased risk of injury. As an osteopath, I can often identify these weak points and treat them proactively or refer on time.

Optimizing Recovery

After an injury, a coordinated approach between the veterinarian and myself can enhance recovery.

The veterinarian treats the specific injury, while I work on restoring the overall balance and mobility of the horse. This accelerates the recovery process.

In short, a synergistic approach between the veterinarian and osteopath contributes to the well-being, performance, and long-term health of these beautiful animals.
